Project Drishti was initiated with an aim to provide eye care screening services to the underprivileged people.
Saravana group of companies has deep roots in Madurantagam and Cuddalore areas. For long we have aimed at bringing essential medical services closer to the local communities deprived of the same.
As a giveback to the society, Shobha Padam Challani Foundation Director Swapna Pawan Kochar and Shobha Challani initiated free eye camps for the all sections of society.
In March 2023, the first eye camp was organized in association with MN Eye hospital and received a thumping response from the local communities.
People of all age groups and income groups attended the camp and along with families. There was free lunch and evening tea and snacks served for the all the visitors to the camp. It was specially heartening to see aged members of the community getting their eyes screened and the spectacles and surgeries were especially helpful for the them. The SPC Foundation family participated in the camp wholeheartedly to serve the community
