Grand Free Eye Camp on March 12th, 2023 at Adarsh Goshala

SPC foundation has been successfully conducted the Grand Free Eye Camp on March 12th, 2023 at Adarsh Ghosala. A total of 350+ beneficiaries attended the camp. 225 beneficiaries were provided with medicinal intervention to help them take care of the various issues afflicting their eyes. Cataract Surgery for 24 patients were successfully completed. A total of 121 beneficiaries were provided spectacles for their vision. Free Food provided to all the beneficiaries who attended the camp.

We express our sincere thanks all our team members for making this special eye Camp successful. It's an important service that helps ensure that people have the best possible vision and can lead healthy and productive lives.

Mission Renovate

Shobha Padam Challani Foundation (SPC Foundation) and Ladies Circle India (LC India) Trust have agreed to work together in Project “RENOVATE”. This agreement describes their understandings and commitments to this collaborative effort. SPC Foundation & LC India collaboratively agreed to provide all kinds of infrastructure i.e cots, fans, water coolers, heaters, etc to old age homes/palliative care homes/Orphanages for girl children or destitute women. the duration of the project was for 3 months started on 1″ Jan 2021 and ended on 31 March 2021. Ladies from 20 circles came forward for the initiative.

Under project Renovate Area Project, Guwahati Gateway Ladies Circle 158 took the initiative to renovate 3 bathrooms at Snehalaya, Noonmati, Guwahati wherein we installed 2 geysers, painted the walls of all the 3 bathrooms and repairing of the pipelines and toilet pots were done.

LGBT community has its own shelter home now in Raipur. Its the 3rd shelter home allocated for Transgender in India. They were in urgent need of a Water purifier for the 50 kids who will be living in this shelter home. The water purifier can store up to 80 liters of water.

1. Renovation of the Courtyard and other regions: 1.Repaired and renovated their tables of the dining area
2. Painted their dining and surrounding area, kitchen, drinking water area, temple wall, stairwall, etc.
3. Repaired and renovated the temple: Changed the ply, installed lights inside and outside the temple, fixed curtain bar and provided new curtains
4. Provided 10 mattresses for them to sit on and do bhajans
5. Provided them with 2 halogen heaters
6. Installed a handle bar on the staircase for them to hold on for support
7. Installed a utensil stand in their kitchen
8. Provided them with 2 large, 2 medium and 4 small storage containers to store grains and other food items
9. Installed support handles in 8 of their toilets
10. Repaired their old air cooler for summers
11. Repaired their medicine cabinet and other small miscellaneous furniture

We executed Project Renovate at mental Asylum. We Renovated the kitchen area with fixing up the tiles under this renovation project. We had also arranged lunch for them. We would like to thank our NP GLMF Cr. Nidhi, NS LMF Cr. Anchal, ACP Cr. Nanda, NPC LMF Cr. Aryaa, AST Cr. Rachita, for their gracious presence for this Joint Area project.

We got an opportunity to renovate Madurai east panchayat union primary school, Thoupulampatti, Alagarkovil road. We not only did a full white wash and cleaning to the school but also painted the classrooms colourful with informative pictures and wordings for the children to read daily and get it captured in their mind, we also repainted the blackboards. We also donated 20 chairs and a table. We also provided lunch to the 85 children in the school. They enjoyed the delicious lunch and they were so happy to see their new colorful school . I hope they will come to school with interest.

We renovated and transformed the backyard of "Sarbari" - A Shelter for homeless women with Psychosocial disabilities into a vegetable garden. The renovation involved cleaning the backyard, which was earlier being used as a scrapyard, building a support structure around the backyard to avoid erosion of soil during monsoons, procurement of appropriate soil and manure, purchase of tools needed for gardening, etc. The engagement in a vegetable garden will be beneficial for the women in the shelter, who are homeless and recovering from severe mental health problems.

Sparsh Round Table School is a special school run by Round Table 121 for autistic children ans is situated in Veloor Kottayam. Through Project Renovate we (5 circles of Area 1) helped them repair , strengthen and extend compound fence. The length of the compound fence is now 300 ft. The project was inaugurated by Tr. Devraj Gopi, AST of Area 1 Round Table India. As the school is situated in the village which is situated near a containment area, only staffs/manager of the school could attend the inauguration.

The second Project Renovate was done at Mundakkapadam Old Age Home in Kottayam. The place houses around 100 elderly amd 20 orphans. The nursing station at the site is an old one which requires renovation and additional facilities like a refrigerator, for keeping medicines, invertor for power back up and racks for storing files and a table. The present nursing station is far from the main building. The management of the old age home has approached the Circle for Renovation and Shifting of Nursing Station.

Borders with blue enamel, Door painting two coats on walls with Asian Apolite Emulsion on top about door level. Area 13 ACP inaugurated the project and was very happy to see our work and congragulated all our circlers for this help to orphanage.

The Pulicat Housing Project involved the funding and completion of 83 semi-finished houses for fishermen in Shanjamman Nagar, Pulicat, which is located 63 km away from the SPCF Office in Ponneri Taluk.

During a visit to the Pulicat village on March 20th, 2020, it was discovered that the houses, which were originally promoted by the Tamilnadu Slum Clearance Board, had been left incomplete due to insufficient funds. After the SPC team thoroughly verified all the details and beneficiary lists, We have provided funding for all 83 houses and oversaw their construction to completion.

Ultimately, all 83 houses were handed over to the deserving fisherman families, bringing them great happiness and a new place to call home.
